Nowadays, after the restoration works, the Mosque of Reçep Pasha maintains the initial typology of the square area with the stone portico and the minaret. The portico has been restored with a combination of old and new stones, the pillars bear new types of pillar heads, while the minaret is preserved with the original octagonal base and the round body. The railing has been replaced by new, wooden fences and the Mausoleum and the fountains are well maintained. On the inside, the decorating elements bear extensive damage on the relief and the frescos and there are some missing ceramic tiles from the lintels; very few parts that are saved are stored in places other than the monument.
